Occasion Photos is based in Worthing, West Sussex. I primarily photograph weddings in East and West Sussex. However, I cover the entire United Kingdom and abroad. My base prices remain the same but I add travel expenses for any travel outside Sussex. I can provide petrol receipts if required.

That is a difficult question. I take honest photos. I prefer reportage/photo-journalism style photography, but as a wedding photographer I understand that many people want group shots and like colour. I try to be as accommodating as possible and therefore I will try to take the photos you want rather than imposing my preferences upon you.

Yes, and no and urm, yes. As a professional Photographer, I reserve the right to present my clients with only the photos I deem of an acceptably high standard. I may take 1000 shots but some I might delete from the camera almost immediately and some I will choose not to use once I examine them at the post-processing stage. Even professional photographers take bad shots which we don’t want in the public domain! So yes, you will receive every single photo taken on the day, once it has passed the the editing stage.

For £100 you can buy the ‘rejected’ shots as long as you are sparing of their use in social media. Obviously I do not want what I deem to be below standard quality images floating around the internet! Many of the shots will be over or under-exposed. Some might be blurred and many will be almost identical duplicates of shots you will already have received.

We use a variety of cameras depending on the event and environment. We use Canon cameras for photography and video recording. We use a small Sony camera for live streaming. We also use a small DJI drone for live and recorded aerial footage. All our cameras are as small and unobtrusive as possible. We will not take over the event lugging masses of huge equipment around.

After the event, I spend some time processing the images. Each picture is processed individually and therefore, if I have taken 300-600 shots, this may take some time. It will take approximately 2 weeks, sometimes much less, occasionally longer to upload the images to your private viewing gallery. The gallery can be accessed by anyone with a unique password. You can of course forward the password to any friends or family. Once the photos are uploaded you can view them and order prints or other gifts direct from the website.

Video takes a little longer to edit. It will speed the process along if you can ensure you email your music choices to me as soon as possible. I usually use around 5 songs. I will keep in touch and give you regular updates as to how the editing is going.

We will always stay until just after the first dance. If you require us to stay longer after that, photography and video time will be charged at £50 per hour. Live streaming is a flat £100 until the end of the day.
